Linville Caverns are located at the southern gateway to western NC’s High Country region, Linville Caverns is an ideal destination for visitors of all ages. The beauty of the NC Blue Ridge mountains is echoed within Humpback Mountain and visitors are invited to explore the splendor and wonders nature created “inside a mountain”.
Linville Caverns offers a unique perspective of the intricate workings that have taken place under the ground surface. All tours are guided & last approximately 35-40 minutes in length…not too tiring for any visitor. Because of our confined space & some low hanging rocks we limit the number of people in a tour to no more than 15. Generally, tours depart every 10-15 minutes during our operating hours but will be spaced closer together during our peak season. We apologize for any wait time our visitors may experience on busy days & we appreciate your understanding that there is a limit to the number of people that can access the mountain at anytime.
